Saw her last time she came through town. Sassy lady, horrible band. Much was the case with tonight's Sugarpie Desanto show. Cute as a button (in a really raunchy way) for a 70 year old lady.

| Yep, It's good to see the artists out and about again. Betty LaVette's career was just about over until a few years ago. Then the guys tracked her down, put her on stage and ...........POW! The rest they say is history! Great success story. And the lady can still use the pipes to best effect! For those that have not herad Shirley Slaughter's work with Weldon McDougal in Philly, she sounds eerily similar!
