| OK just picked a nice copy of Kim Weston - Helpless at the Toronto show and it got me thinking. I have Tamla sleeves with the Penny Farthing and Motown sleeves with the little record player but I done ever recall seeing Gordy specific sleeves? Anyone else? Not Motown but Detroit, also picked up a mint Deon Jackson - You Said You Loved Me on Canadian Carla, anyone know any others on Canadian? I have The Capitols and The Excels 45's but they are on Canadian Atco?

There are no Gordy-specific sleeves. They came in the general sleeve that says "Hitsville USA" or in plain brown wrappers. Later, they were all in different colored "Sound of Young America" sleeves.
Seems strange though-it would have been nice having Gordy sleeves.

ps. Kev I saw you really enjoying "Salt & Pepper" by Esko Affair when I played it last year. Fancy a copy for yourself? Let me know before I put it on ebay.

Thanks Jas
That leads me onto another question, how many different colours of those later sleeves were there? I have Blue, Brown and without checking I think green.
How much for the Esko Affair? Issue or Demo?

Kev,
As far as I know, you've got:
black ink
blue ink
green ink
red ink
orange ink
also, there are blue versions with a different backing that's all light blue and says "The Motown Sound" going in a circle. Those came later.

I'm pretty sure I've got a red SOYA sleeve as well as the other colours mentioned.
