 The first record Berry put out under the Tamla logo was this one, that he'd already seen a deal with on UA. Bit of trivia - UA was started by Charlie Chaplin and a couple of other film stars who thought they were being duoed financially by the major studios. Piece of irony there then that Berry Gordy should start his Tamla label for the same reason eh?

I would like to say hello to all folks here in the Forum, I´m from Germany and a Motown Fan since the age of seeventeen. I prefer escpecially the early female Motown Stuff like Oma Heard, LaBrenda Ben, Hattie Littles or Mabel John to name a few. I hope I can find some interesting discussions.
