| I recently sold a few 45s to finance a trio of long time wants. I ended up securing two of them (the third one proved too expensive in my opinion so that will have to wait for another day.... Here's what I've picked up on my travels to UK last month.... Proved a tough demo to locate, great beat ballad/shuffler. Randazzo/Pike /Little Anthony at their peak. Full blown big city sounding, lush arrangment, massive emotional performance. Love it!

| With names like Fred Smith, James Carmichael, Bob Relf and Earl Jackson it's no brainer! A version of the Bob Relf classic B side on Trans American (Blowing My Mind To Pieces) it's one I hadn't heard until recently. QUALITY mid tempo of the highest calibre.

| I've pout these wo together as there's a connection. The Jay Walking Demo is obviously from the stable of Bobby Fulton whilst the Millie McLaine 45 is a recent pressing by a couple of guys in UK but Millie was also on the A$R roster for Soulville and in fact released a great double sider on the Soulville label. Story is that she was found and gave the go ahead for the guys to pressup this preiously unreleased gem as a giveaway at a club in UK. The remainder of the two hundred run were then sold off. Both Dave F and myself got one each.

| Heard this about 12 years ago for the first time and have been doggedly trying to capture one ever since. Finally got one! Top notch soulful midtempo along the lines of The Topics on Chadwick. Well chuffed! Had to part with a few bits to get it but feel it was worthwhile.

| Now then! Have heard about this 'Mythical 45' over the years but only ever seen this one copy. I believe there is at least one other though. Anyone seen one/got one/know anything about it? A true rarity in my opinion. Comes from the same stamper as the Tuff copy. Vinyl and the label is very similar to the Tuff labelling also. N...I....C....E!

DJ-I've got three copies of that Skyliners now. Keep turning them up lately for some reason. "The Loser" is a killer too! Great 45 even though another guy is standing in for Jimmy Beaumont. JB would have elevated it even further though.
I got a nice demo the other day. Will post the photo after I get the 45 through.
