| The duets from Marvin and Tammi are very often dismissed by some fans as being too "twee".I've always loved their style and the way they always appeared relaxed in each others vocal abilities. I know that later when Diana Ross and Marvin did duets they recorded their vocals seperately at differentv sessions, but I can't believe the same was done with Tammi and he. Anyone got any info on these recordings to clarify? Here's their finest moment as a couple. Click on then link......Twee? I think not!

| I can't see anything in the biography of marvin gaye & tammi turrell to suggest that they recorded at different times only that he flatly refused not to stop smoking in the same studio as diana because she was pregnant with her second child and that is why they recorded at seperate times. don't know if this is much help?
