Simon, is "How Can You Say Goodbye" by Major Lance the same song as the Sidney Joe Qualls tune?

Best,

Mark

Yes it is and I never realised that !
It's on a 1974 UK Contempo 45.
I don't think it got a US release. The writer credit is given as 'L. Simons'

I reviewed the 45 in 'manifesto' recently and no one has pointed that out at all. I feature non US 45's or tracks that were released in the UK on 45 before the US release in my column

However, the version by Sidney Joe on the Expansion CD (which has the alternate version of "I Don't Do This" on it) credits the writers as Sam Dees and Dan Eckley!
Which one is right ?
