I'm not 100% sure, but I would almost swear the V.I.P.S. were a Black group.
Isn't that them on the cover of "Big Top Soul Cellar" ??
Does anyone know more about this group?

Loads of 'em are great. Here's some off the top of my head:

The Wrong Side Of Town - The Four Vandals. Up there with the best !

You must be joking 'One picture's worth a thousand words' is 10 times better

Ok-but what about "I Don't Believe In Losing" from the same LP "Souled Out"

Good stuff by Mickey Stevenson

Here's another killer in my book:

"I Still Love You" Harry Deal and the Galaxies

Hi, here are my favourite blue eyed soul tracks:-

The Four Seasons - I'm gonna change - Philips LP track.

Billy Harner - What about the music - Kama Sutra.

Barbara Mills - Queen of fools - Hickory.

Dusty Springfield - all her tracks but mainly "Welcome home" her version of the great Walter Jackson song.

Joey Dee - It's got you - Jubilee.

Ronnie & Robin - As long as you love - Sidra (I assume these guys are white).

Mike & Ray - If only you knew -Giant.

Dean Parrish - Bricks broken bottles and sticks - Musicor.

Thats it for now, will post somemore later.

Regards

Alan
