Hi Kev Some of the group said to give you a shout as you are also one of the crazy Canuk. Where are you from in Canada? What going on in the soul World were you are? Not much in Kelowna Sorry to say. I found a site on line to get my hands on some vinyl and I lesson to a lot of internet radio. I have a friend in Vancouver who plays in a Northern band they play covers of old northern tracks but thats about it. If I get my pass port I may go down to Seattle in November. They have an All-Nighter there. I have never been to an All-Nighter so it could be cool. The only thing like that I have made it to was a Scooter Rally in Calgary I also djed the first Scooter Rally in Kelowna but I was Mixing Cds. It's a start. I was Born in Scotland. My friend and I got into Northern Soul from older Brothers, Fozz my mate has a box of 45 that belonged to his Brother's Best friend. Bad marage. That was when I was about 12 I have loved it ever since. I'm 42 now Well got to go. All The Best

| Kev New answering! I am in a small-ish town called Waterdown, about 40 mins from Toronto. Unfortunately there is not alot going on here Soul wise either. The Soul Clan were running when we arrived but there was, I think, a bit of a split and it turned into a bit of a Mod revival night and then just ran its course. There are a couple of yout's in Hamilton who are tring to get something going and there is quite a few Funk nights in TO but I havent been to any. Off out now but will be in touch again

Hi Kev
Thanks for getting back to me. Do you know any thing about that weekender they had in Seattle last year? Is it an on going thing? Here is one or two things I have found on the net. As I said I like to get my fix on internet radio I listen to Mary Fox, Northern and Motown She on the BBC out of Stoke on Trent. (Home of the Torch) You can google all of this. She had a guest on her show, Eddy Edmonson also a dj. He put Soul in the sun together so if you or any of the gang are looking for a holiday in Spain take a look. It on in April and November. I will go one day when our son is older. The other thing I was going to tell you about was www.mrmandtheallnighters.com This is a soul band in Vancouver. I made contact with Ian in the band and hope to get together with him in July when I go down to Van. Are you into vinyl look up www.classic45s.com they have 45s for a very good cost and they are very good to work with drop my name. Well that should keep you going for a bit. Later
